Janice STFU is a song by Canadian rapper Drake, released on May 15, 2026, as the fourth track on his studio album Iceman via OVO Sound and Republic Records. The track blends R&B and hip-hop, running 3 minutes and 57 seconds. It was serviced to American rhythmic contemporary radio on May 19, 2026, as the album's second single alongside 2 Hard 4 the Radio.
Written solely by Drake and produced by FnZ, b4u, and Rogét Chahayed, the song interpolates Lykke Li's I Follow Rivers, earning additional writing credits for Lykke Li, Björn Yttling, and Rick Nowels. The title originates from a resurfaced clip of Joe Budden's show, where he revealed his white woman name was Janice and exclaimed shut the fuck up. The lyrics contain directed attacks at Kendrick Lamar, accusing him of fake activism and questioning his record deals.
Janice STFU debuted at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100, the Canadian Hot 100, and the Billboard Global 200. This achievement allowed Drake to break Michael Jackson's record for the most number-one hits among male solo artists, marking his 14th career Hot 100 number one. It held the top spot for a second week, becoming Drake's first multi-week Hot 100 number one since his 2018 track In My Feelings and his first of the 2020s. In its second week, the song accumulated 31.5 million official streams, 7.3 million radio airplay audience impressions, and 2,000 digital sales in the US. It led the Streaming Songs chart for two weeks and reached number 15 on Digital Song Sales.
Critical reception was positive. Steffanee Wang of The Fader labeled the song the song of summer 2026, calling it a groovy melancholic Unc anthem. Lykke Li praised it as potent with raw, revenge, hip-hop energy. Zohran Mamdani, O'Shea Jackson Jr., and Timbaland also publicly praised the track. In contrast, Jay-Z responded to the song's subliminals with a three-minute freestyle during the Roots Picnic festival. An earlier version of the idea, titled That's How I Feel, was released during the Plot Twist rollout, produced by Alex Lustig, b4u, London Cyr, and O Lil Angel, before Drake secured the rights to sample Lykke Li and refined it into the final record.
