    Privacy Policy

    Last updated: August 23, 2026

    1. Scope and operator

This policy applies to iFANN's websites, iOS and Android apps, and related services (the "Service"). iFANN is a brand operated by ROCK DIGITAL LLC ("iFANN", "we", "us", or "our").

    2. Information we collect

    Information you provide

    • Account and authentication: username, display name, email address, password hash, phone number and verification status where used, date of birth where provided, and identifiers received from Apple, Google, Kakao, LINE, or Weibo when you choose those sign-in methods. We do not receive your provider password.
    • Profile and preferences: avatar, cover image, biography, links, location you choose to display, language, interests, privacy and notification settings.
    • Content and communications: posts, comments, photos, videos, audio, polls, votes, reports, appeals, support messages, and direct or group messages.
    • Transactions, advertising rewards, and Creator Rewards: virtual-ticket and coin activity, rewarded-ad attempts and completion records, advertising transaction identifiers, eligibility and anti-fraud records, and payout details you submit to a payment provider where applicable. Payment providers process payment credentials under their own policies.

    Information collected automatically

    • Device and technical data: IP address, device and browser type, operating system, app version, language, push-notification tokens, advertising or device identifiers where permitted, consent status, crash and diagnostic data, and security logs.
    • Usage and engagement: pages and screens viewed, searches, follows, impressions, views, clicks, likes, reposts, reports, referrals, and how features are used.
    • Approximate location: country inferred from IP address for localization, security, fraud prevention, analytics, and legally permitted advertising. iFANN does not request precise device location for its core social features.
    • Cookies and similar technologies: authentication, security, preferences, measurement, fraud prevention, and advertising on surfaces where offered. Where required, we or our advertising providers request consent before using information for advertising. Cross-app tracking is not enabled on Apple devices without Apple's tracking permission.

    3. How we use information

    • Provide, personalize, maintain, and improve the Service and recommendations.
    • Authenticate users, secure accounts, prevent fraud and manipulation, and enforce our rules.
    • Publish the profile and content you choose to make public and enable social interactions and messaging.
    • Operate notifications, support, data exports, moderation, copyright requests, and appeals.
    • Measure performance, understand usage, and show or measure advertising where enabled and legally permitted.
    • Comply with legal obligations and protect users, iFANN, and the public.

    4. When we share information

We may share information with hosting, content-delivery, storage, analytics, authentication, notification, advertising, email, safety, customer-support, and payment service providers that process data for the purposes described above. This includes Apple and Google for authentication and app services; Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging for notifications; and, where enabled, Google Mobile Ads (AdMob), Appodeal, and mediation partners such as Unity Ads for advertising, measurement, consent, frequency control, and fraud prevention. Additional advertising partners will be disclosed here before activation. We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect safety or rights, in connection with a business transaction, or at your direction. Public profiles and public contributions are visible to anyone and may be indexed or reshared.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some advertising or measurement activity may be considered "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under certain privacy laws; where applicable, iFANN provides the required notice, consent, or opt-out.

    5. Legal bases and international processing

Where a legal basis is required, we process information to perform our contract with you, for legitimate interests such as service security and improvement, with consent (including certain advertising or device permissions), and to comply with law. iFANN and its providers may process information in countries other than yours, subject to applicable safeguards.

    6. Retention and account deletion

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, meet legal and safety obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type.

An account-deletion request starts a 30-day recovery period. Signing in during that period cancels the request. After the period, we permanently remove or irreversibly anonymize account identifiers and private account data, subject to limited legal, fraud-prevention, security, backup, and financial-record retention.

After the recovery period, iFANN deletes or irreversibly anonymizes content and communications associated with the account, including authored posts, videos, comments, room threads, messages, and identifying media metadata. The former public username is replaced with a random anonymous identifier wherever a structural, safety, legal, fraud-prevention, backup, or financial record must remain. Details are in our Account and Data Deletion page.

    7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, restrict, or object to processing, and to withdraw consent. You can edit settings and export data in the Service. To request account deletion, use Settings → Account → Delete account or follow the instructions at ifann.net/account-deletion. For other privacy requests, email [email protected]. We may verify your identity before completing a request.

    8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. Passwords are hashed and session credentials are protected in transit and storage. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

    9. Children

iFANN is not intended for children under 13, or a higher minimum age where local law requires it. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable minimum age. Contact [email protected] if you believe a child has provided information to iFANN. See our Child Safety Standards.

    10. Changes

We may update this policy as the Service or law changes. We will update the date above and provide additional notice for material changes when required.
