Harmeet Dhillon on DOJ Voter Roll Lawsuits

    por Flint: Harmeet Dhillon

🚨 WOW! 60 Minutes just tried telling Americans to IGNORE noncitizen voting because it's "rare," and AAG Harmeet Dhillon took NONE of that BS HOST: It could sow distrust! 🤡 DHILLON: The point is actually the OPPOSITE of what you're saying. It's not to sow distrust. The distrust is THERE! All of these kinds of crimes are being prosecuted now for the first time in VOLUME. 👏🏻👏🏻 We can't keep letting the fake news talk down to us like we should be OK US citizens' votes get canceled out... The DOJ sued California for allegedly mailing ballots to more than 20,000 likely noncitizens in the 2026 elections. And 30 states are refusing to turn over their full voter rolls, so the DOJ sued every one of them! If it's so "rare," why are they fighting this hard to keep anyone from checking?!

Non-citizens cannot vote in federal elections, so the question is simply how many of them there are. Harmi Dillon, the head of the Civil Rights Division of the Justice Department, has spearheaded the government's voter roll initiative. She spoke to us from California. There are people who feel that the point is to sow distrust about the whole election system. There are very few people who are non-citizens who end up voting, very, very few. And so therefore, what's the purpose? The point is actually the opposite of what you were saying. It's not to sow distrust. The distrust is there. And so all of these kinds of crimes are being prosecuted now for the first time, really, in volume. And even the Biden administration prosecuted 13 people for non-citizen voting. Thirteen people. I mean, the numbers are tiny. So, Leslie, we've been in office for less than two years. We've had investigations ongoing for over a year, and it takes time. There are literally thousands of them out there that we are looking at.
