NVIDIA Open Agent Safety Platform

    por Felix P: Nvidia

Keeping an AI agent from wandering past its limits is turning into its own problem, and that's the space NVIDIA is stepping into with the Open Agent Safety Platform. Agents keep picking up more rope: they can reach for tools, pull from data, run tasks on their own. The more they do, the harder it gets to keep them inside the lines they were drawn. So the platform leans on OpenShell to fence off which data, tools, and networks an agent is allowed to touch. There's also Sentry, a separate piece doing hardware-level monitoring on its own, and it can cut an agent off in milliseconds once it trips a predefined limit. The bigger picture the industry keeps circling: as these systems get more autonomous, holding them safely might matter just as much as making them stronger
