When you stack up the global gold reserves, the United States sits at approximately 8,133 tonnes, leaving a massive gap before Germany with approximately 3,352 tonnes. Italy follows at approximately 2,452 tonnes and France is right there with approximately 2,437 tonnes. Russia holds approximately 2,335 tonnes while China has approximately 2,290 tonnes. Switzerland brings approximately 1,040 tonnes to the table, India sits at approximately 878 tonnes, and Japan holds approximately 846 tonnes. Türkiye comes in with approximately 615 tonnes, just ahead of the Netherlands at approximately 612 tonnes. Poland accounts for approximately 531 tonnes, Portugal has approximately 382 tonnes, and Uzbekistan holds approximately 362 tonnes. Saudi Arabia rounds out the mid-tier with approximately 323 tonnes, the United Kingdom has approximately 310 tonnes, and Kazakhstan holds approximately 295 tonnes. Spain shows approximately 282 tonnes, Thailand sits at approximately 244 tonnes, and the United Arab Emirates ends the list with approximately 180 tonnes.
