Networks end Trump boycott after ratings hit

TV networks have officially pulled back from boycotting President Trump video coverage after realizing a long-term standoff is simply UNTENABLE. They could never stay away, and the timing of that decision feels loaded given how the boycott during part of his Xi visit may have tanked their ratings. The New York Times reported that 47 entities blocked CNN from pool access and Air Force One, leaving CNN's specific day or slot in the news pool unfilled for now. Coverage on days when other networks perform pool duty will be normal though, and networks retain the ability to vote to restart the boycott at any time. CNN maintains basic White House grounds access but is excluded from pool duties for events like Air Force One.
