Pakistan shipping containers block Islamabad ahead of PTI march

Islamabad has a bill to think about: keeping 1,550 shipping containers in place runs an estimated Rs46.5 million every day. Those boxes are what's shutting down roads across the capital ahead of a PTI march, stacked and in some spots welded together so nothing gets through. Khan's three sisters were picked up, plus hundreds of party activists. And the containers weren't all rented. Per reporting in Pakistan, police took trucks and shipping boxes that were still hauling commercial goods, which snarled freight traffic along the way. Then PTI shifted the timeline. A march that was supposed to start September 27 is now set for October 4. Spokesman Zulfi Bukhari posed the obvious question: "How long they're willing to keep the country closed off?"
