The Jackson 5 on Bob Hope's 1973 variety special: Jackie 22, Tito 19, Jermaine 18, Marlon 16, Michael 15. They ran through "Get it Together," traded lines with Hope, then broke out "Dancing Machine." What gets me is that this reads as the exact point where the Motown kids stopped being kids and became the standard. And the camera operator who let Michael's robot dance slip past the lens deserves a serious talking to, no question. #MichaelJackson
