The Strait of Hormuz, per Trump, was the setup Iran built to squeeze everyone else. Then the U.S. answered, and in his words it was the biggest blockade military history has ever seen. So where does that leave Tehran? According to him, the only country really starving for cash. The oil leverage play flipped: they wanted the world's supply held hostage and ended up cutting off their own way through. As the speaker lays it out, Iran's revenue runs through that Strait, and with nothing coming in, the country is financially dying.
