Yes, if you have ADHD and you struggle with the hyper productivity and then the collapse and then the hyper productivity and then the burnout and then the shame and the reset restart pattern, then this is for you. The first step is to actually unblend productivity with consistency. It took me so long to learn this, but once I did, it changed the whole game. You have to learn to befriend the nervous system that you have and not the nervous system that you think that you should have. When you do that you understand that most people with ADHD actually don work well when we supposed to be consistent We have a more rhythmic way of being And when you honor your rhythms then everything changes It like on here I will have bursts of creativity or days or weeks where it just channeling through me and I have to post And then I will have periods where I don post as much That has worked for me It will never work for me if I try to put myself in a box that is meant for neurotypical humans but here are all of my tips to help you increase productivity Most of us don actually have a motivation problem We have an initiation problem It is very hard for us to initiate tasks. So if you can get yourself to initiate, then that's half the battle. Body-based initiations are key. So I'm going to stand up and I'm going to unload the dishwasher. I'm going to stand up and I'm going to open my computer and I'm going to send one email, incorporate the body, incorporate movement, and that will help you to stop staying stuck and staying frozen. Time containers over to-do lists. So a lot of people will say, just dump everything out of your brain, put everything on a to-do list. And that has a time and a place, but often we get overwhelmed and overwhelm is a key for ADHD because overwhelm is what puts us into task paralysis where we can't do anything. So my biggest recommendation is to just make time blocks. I have a time timer. It's in my Amazon storefront. I love using this where you can set it for up to an hour, 25 minutes, 30 minutes, whatever your timeframe is. And it's visual. So you're not glued to your phone.
