Orangie on memes and branding

Orangie is flipping the script on how meme culture actually lands in his career. He's saying that seeing his face edited and spread around online isn't a threat but a genuine boost for his brand because it helps new people figure out who he is. It wasn't always like this though, since growing up there were plenty of things about internet drama that genuinely bothered him. At some point, the negativity did kind of get to him a little bit, but he sees most of it as just noise that doesn't really matter. The real-world side of things is totally different from what you see on the feed; he has never had a bad experience with these memes in person and actually gets the opposite reaction when people meet him. Making mean comments is pretty easy to do on the internet, but Orangie chooses not to say those bad things because he doesn't want to burn any bridges or ruin any connections he has built. Even so, he admits there are profiles out there that he would be a hater of too lowkey if he let himself.

I think the memes like I actually love, like I think it's great. Like the more people put my face out there edited, like actually it's only plus EB to my brand just because it helps like new people know who I am. Growing up, there was a lot of things that like did bother me. Like my list bothered me a little bit, like the way I spoke, stuff like that. When I was a little bit like more overweight, like people would like say more comments regarding that. I think like at some point it did kind of bother me a little bit. um but like i think most of the negativity is like mainly noise it doesn't really ever come from like uh i've never had a bad experience in real life with somebody like i actually get the opposite like it's mainly like just like praise and stuff and like this is real life like it's pretty easy to like um say bad things on the internet like right you know i myself i don't say the bad things because like you know i don't want to burn any bridges or like i don't want to like you know ruin any connections or anything but like you know there's definitely profiles out there where i'm I'm like, oh, I wanna like, I would low key be a hater too. So it is what it is. But like IRL, like you know, it's all just like internet stuff. It doesn't really matter. Yeah, that's great, man.
