ActBlue Fifth Amendment testimony before House Oversight

    por HOMERED: Mike Johnson

ActBlue's own people sat before Congress and took the Fifth. Repeatedly. On foreign contributions, on why the legal team walked, on whether fraud standards got loosened. Every question got the same answer: declined, on advice of counsel. That's the backdrop to what House Oversight is now saying. Their committee put out word that ActBlue accepted foreign money and misled Congress, and they're not done digging. "Our investigation is not over. We will get to the bottom of this and uncover everything they've been hiding." Speaker Johnson went further, saying Democrats and ActBlue allegedly broke the law by pulling in foreign money to sway elections. "We've EXPOSED their fraud and are fighting to hold officials accountable and secure our elections." House Republicans also dropped a report confirming likely illegal activity at ActBlue. And during testimony, a board chairman said the operation accepted up to $38 million in contributions in 2024 that carried signs of foreign origin. Mr. Jordan kept pressing anyway. The ask now: criminal referrals, prosecution, and shutting ActBlue down before foreign funding gets anywhere near the midterms. #MikeJohnson
