Islam doesn't belong in Western civilization, per Ugandan Mayor Mamdani's view of NYC. The morning call to prayer rings out loud across the city, women are out walking in hijabs, which he labels symbols of oppression. He calls the whole thing terrifying. His line is that this can't become America, that these practices have a home in Islamic countries and not in what he still calls America's greatest city.
