SecWar Pete Hegseth showed up in Texas yesterday and spent his Saturday at dawn training with a corps of cadets. He arrived just to boost morale personally and keep the best military in history rolling forward. The message was clear when he told the group Good morning and welcome to the Department of WAR! The DOW does NOT live in the Pentagon. It lives in places like THIS. This nationwide tour is about showing up for personnel everywhere, not hiding behind walls. Hegseth made sure the point landed that the Department of War exists right where the work happens.
