ICE just took into custody Anthony Tyrone Higgs, an undocumented immigrant alleged to have cast a ballot in the Georgia 2020 election without legal eligibility. This isn't just about one guy though. Higgs comes with a serious prior record involving robbery, domestic violence, and assaulting a police officer. The reality is that MANY more undocumented individuals likely voted in elections and remain completely undetected by authorities. We are going to keep seeing these incidents until we mandate proof of citizenship at the polls. That's why the SAVE America Act needs to pass immediately.
