President Trump told Ingraham he would hit Iran significantly harder if midterms weren't looming, predicting the war ends immediately after the vote. Neoconservatives advise a full military intervention to remove Iranian leadership, but Trump suggests he may not pursue total removal because of the election cycle. He claimed Democrats are perceived as allowing Iran to acquire a nuclear weapon and stated he terminated the Obama nuclear deal, calling the JCPOA a road to a nuclear weapon. Trump asserted he stopped two bombers from attacking and insisted the US controls the Strait while denying Iranian control there. He alleged Iran is experiencing 300% inflation and cannot pay its military or law enforcement. Trump speculated unpaid security forces will eventually stop shooting protesters, referencing China's successful use of army tanks against protesters while noting other countries like Turkey failed in similar contexts. He also claimed significant oil seizures occurred, specifically taking 22 boats out of the Strait.

YOU KNOW, I WANT TO KEEP THINGS LOOKED. WE'RE TAKING A LOT OF OIL. YOU KNOW, LAST NIGHT WE TOOK 22 BOATS OUT OF THE STRAIGHT. YOU KNOW, WE CONTROL THE STRAIGHT. THEY DON'T CONTROL THE STRAIGHT. THEY CONTROL NOTHING. THEY HAVE 300% INFLATION. They're not paying their military. They're not paying their law enforcement. And at some point, the military and the law enforcement are going to stop shooting the protesters. It's a little... It's amazing how they can do that. You know, China did it successfully with the army tank. You remember? Other countries couldn't. Turkey couldn't do it. China never seems to get in many military conflicts.
