If the last thing that we could do for Miss Guffey since we couldn't cure her, we couldn't heal her, but we could make sure that, you know, that part of her walk with the Lord was finished. So her nurses started looking for a way to make it work inside her medical ICU room. They door dashed a kiddie pool from Walgreens, had it delivered to the hospital, and then got creative. I took the ventilator tubing from an unused ventilator and I taped it to the faucet, taped it around and just used it like a hose and turned it on and hoped it worked and it did luckily. They used the room ceiling lift to safely lower Guffey into the warm water. Her son performed the baptism with her husband and other loved ones gathered around her. They were just happy. They just said thank you so many times. They just kept telling us how grateful they were and just overwhelming joy. The next day, Jeanie went home to spend her final days surrounded by family. She died peacefully one week later. And for the nurses who cared for her, they say being able to fulfill that final wish is something they'll carry with them. We're not only here to make you feel better, but we're here for you in all aspects. And that's what our heart really is. And while we can't always make you better, we hope that we can make you happy and we hope that we can impact you in some type of way.
