Royce White on WNBA trans debate
por Flint: Royce White
Royce White isn't holding back on the WNBA's trans eligibility mess. She says it's wild the league can't even define the W in its own name and floated a scenario where LeBron James wakes up one day, realizes he's a woman, and enters the WNBA draft after his NBA run. White brought up Enos Cantor as another example and insists this is all about elevating the league, ticket prices and attendance are gonna soar. The whole thing went down on Fox & Friends Weekend

Well, you know, it's just astounding that the WNBA can't define the W in the name. And I think we're going through a very necessary conversation about who's actually eligible to play in some of these professional sports leagues, I guess, on both sides of the gender spectrum. My goal is to help elevate the WNBA. I think the ticket prices and the attendance will soar. I think the audience, the live audience, will increase. And I think ultimately it's good for the game. It's going to help evolve the game. I mean, who would argue that, you know, a player like myself or an Enos Cantor or, you know, in the future, maybe even, I don't know, a LeBron James, you know, after he expires in the NBA, you know, maybe he wakes up one day and realizes he's a, you know, a woman as well. You know, who could argue that that wouldn't make the women's game better? So, let's go.
