A conversation between Errol Musk and Ashfaq Kar has surfaced where they go back and forth on farming, race, and food production in Africa, with the focus landing hard on South Africa. Errol Musk puts it plainly: if whites leave South Africa, food production collapses and the black population drops to where it was a hundred years ago. He credits Afrikaner farmers for the country’s outstanding output, saying they perfected agriculture there over 400 years. Then he points to Zambia and Zimbabwe, claiming people in rural areas are starving right now. Ashfaq Kar pushes back immediately. He notes that populations in Zambia and Zimbabwe have actually grown over the last century and that people are eating, even with real problems.
