She’s floating with her eyes shut, hair a mess in the breeze, nothing but lake and sun. A knife comes up through the tube from underneath and she just thinks it’s a wobble, doesn’t move. The blade changes angle and by the time she clocks it she’s gone. Police show up to drag for her body. A diver goes down and finds a sunken boat that’s been abandoned, a hunting rifle sitting inside. He reaches for it and a hand grabs him from behind, the same corpse they spotted on the shoreline. The diver gets tangled, can’t get free, and when they haul him up he’s barely breathing. The chief orders the river locked off and drained so they can take the killer alive. At the bottom an officer looks into the murk and his face just drains.

A woman floats on the lake, legs stretched open. Suddenly a knife pierces her float from below, but she just thinks it's a wobble doesn't react. Then the knife shifts direction. By the time she notices it's already too late. Moments later, police arrive to search for the body. One diver heads underwater. He finds an abandoned boat, sunken and half hidden. He opens a hatch, everything inside looks untouched. He picks up a hunting rifle from the table, just as he's about to inspect it. A hand reaches out from behind. It's a corpse. The same one they saw on the shore. The officer above senses something's off. He yells and pulls the safety rope. The diver tugs back a weak signal. They relax. For now, the diver keeps searching. He opens another door and the killer is waiting inside holding a knife. He turns to flee but the rope around his waist gets stuck. He panics. Bubbles shoot from his mouth. The officers on land start pulling fast but when they drag him out he's barely breathing. The chief gives the order. Lock down the river. Drain the water. find the killer alive, but just when he thinks it's over, he sees what's waiting at the bottom, and his face goes pale.
