Grayson Waller discusses CM Punk AJ Styles and Shawn Michaels

The future of the business isn't just about who's holding the belt right now, it's about the guys like CM Punk, AJ Styles, and Shawn Michaels who are actually shaping what comes next. Grayson Waller points out that AJ Styles has been stepping up in NXT lately, producing matches and getting back in the ring, which is a huge deal since Waller openly admits he's a massive fan of his. It's not just about the work though; Waller notes that AJ gives talent real creative freedom instead of forcing them into specific spots. He describes the dynamic as asking 'What do you want to do?' or 'What if we do that?' rather than demanding compliance, making every collaboration feel better and more enjoyable. Waller definitely wishes he had more chances to share the ring with him beyond the few opportunities they've already had. The moment that really drove this home for him happened after his match against EK Prosper. When he walked back through the curtain, he found Shawn Michaels, AJ Styles, and CM Punk standing there together. Those three represent different generations of wrestlers who genuinely care about the industry and want to give back. They were reacting to seeing EK Prosper return to the backstage area after being thrown into a major match with only 24 hours' notice, where he unfortunately lost. But the expressions on those three veterans' faces when they saw the young kid come back told Waller everything he needed to know about their dedication to the future. That reaction confirmed that these legends are the ones steering the ship for the next wave of talent.
