Smit Machchhar UAE presidential honor

Those scars on Smit Machchhar's arm are finally out in the open, no coverings, and they say plenty about what he went through to keep everyone on that flight alive. The UAE handed the Indian pilot a presidential honor for stopping a plane hijacking, which is the kind of thing that earns a medal and a permanent reminder on your body. Sure, the ceremony looks nice, but the physical cost behind it is the part worth sitting with.
