Pelican rescued from fishing line

🦩 A Wounded Pelican Gets a Second Chance at Life! ❤️ Sometimes, the smallest act of kindness can make the biggest difference. A pelican tangled in discarded fishing line faced a dangerous situation. The thin strands can tighten around a bird’s wings, damaging feathers, cutting into skin, and making flight nearly impossible. Fortunately, wildlife rescuers can make a life-changing difference. By carefully removing the tangled line and treating injuries, they give vulnerable birds a chance to recover and return to the wild. Stories like this remind us that something as simple as a piece of abandoned fishing line can become a deadly trap for marine wildlife. 🌊 The ocean is their home. Keeping it safe is our responsibility. ❤️ Would you stop to help an injured wild bird?
