Cucurella pockets Lamine Yamal in clásico

Marc Cucurella didn't just prove the pre-clásico predictions wrong, he turned them into a whole lecture. Everyone figured Lamine Yamal would spend the afternoon having fun against him. What actually happened was a defensive shift from the Real Madrid full-back that belongs among the best a clásico has ever produced. Yamal got shut down, and Cucurella still found a way to factor into a Real Madrid goal. Rewind to when Yamal learned about the signing: "I've told him that he's going to play the first match as a starter and the second one he's already going to be a substitute because I'm going to eat him up." The menu got flipped. Yamal ended up in Cucurella's pocket, and the takeaway is simple: football doesn't let you call your shots before kickoff. THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING REAL MADRID, CUCURELLA.
