The Aug. 2026 primary is the precedent being floated: Republicans took the turnout lead on a Monday, and by this telling that Monday is tomorrow. Whether it repeats is an open question. What's certain is the ask going out to Florida Republicans, put the FOOT ON THE GAS because Monday through Friday of this week are PIVOTAL. The reason: Florida Democrats won the day's in-person early voting by about D+0.1 points, roughly 200 votes. Democrats sat at 39.26% and Republicans at 39.12%. With mail folded in it was 39.8% to 39.5%. Volume was the lowest since day one, and this was expected to be a stronger day for Dems than it turned out to be. A Republican lead is likely later this week, and the message is to take it and NEVER LOOK BACK
