Monica Barbaro in One Night Only

Will Gluck is directing One Night Only, and the setup is what has me hooked: a bizarre dystopian America where sex before marriage is outright banned. Monica Barbaro plays Allison "Allie" Miranda in it, and the whole thing lands as a 2026 romantic comedy. Putting that premise in a rom-com frame is a wild swing, and honestly it's the kind of bold new turn the genre could use rn.
