Peter Berg on the CALL OF DUTY movie

Peter Berg isn't shying from the violence in CALL OF DUTY. His point, though, is what sits underneath it: the game and the people who made it, in his view, are really examining the cost of war and the "cost of having to be a warrior" who puts himself between real danger and everyone else, whatever his reason. Yes, there's violence, Berg admits it. That's the surface. (Source: ComicBook)
