Volkswagen factory closures over time

the deindustrialization is already on the calendar, that's the part people miss. contracts and how the industry is built mean this drags out instead of hitting all at once, so it's a slow process by design. volkswagen is the case in point: a lot will shut down, just not right away, since VW announced the closures to land over time. slow death, scheduled in advance.
