Small distributor BlackBear scoring a major win this weekend at US BoxOffice with festival darling Wicker. The sex comedy, which BB acquired US distribution rights for just 2.5M, grossed solid 2.4M on FRI Opening Day alone, including 620k THU Previews, over just 1.471 theatres. Eyeing a 6M-7M 3-day opening weekend.
