Received with positive WOM, Focus’ new JaneAusten’s romance book adaptation SenseAndSensibility is poised for 2nd frame solid hold at US BoxOffice, grossing 1.1M on 2nd FRI, a -68.3% drop from FRI Opening Day (vs PrideAndPrejudice’s 1.4M, -48.2% back in 2005). It hits a 11.3M cume in the US. Even so, with a 25M production price tag not including marketing, the romance will have to show strong staying power in the U.S. and overseas to make its money back while in theatres. Eyeing a 3.5M-4M 2nd 3-day weekend & a 51%-44% drop
