A car pulled up around 10:30 a.m. and someone inside opened fire with an automatic weapon on people in the street. That's what left one dead and five seriously injured across Trappes and La Verrière. The suspect, 39, is in custody, and the National Anti-Terrorism Prosecutor's Office has opened an investigation. Emmanuel Macron's response came as a declaration: he condemned the attack as terrorist and racist in nature.
