Felipe Melo on Messi vs Cristiano Ronaldo

Felipe Melo's case for Messi over Cristiano Ronaldo comes down to what happens after the foul. Messi would get up and come back for another, Melo says, and that fearlessness is part of why he calls him one of the best in history. Watching him play, in Melo's words, is incredible. The comparison is where it gets specific: Ronaldo can score 5 goals against you, but Messi scores those 5 and also makes his teammates score goals. That, to Melo, makes him the more complete player. Hard to argue with the logic laid out that plainly.
