Taylor Swift Cruel Summer hits No 1

Cruel Summer was already over five years old when it climbed to #1 on the Hot 100 in 2023, and that timing is the wild part. The song became Taylor Swift's tenth chart-topper, her longest-charting track ever, and the first #1 to come off Lover. Over 10 million units sold on top of all that. A whole era of the song existing before the chart caught up.
