Cristiano Ronaldo Portuguese Football Federation sanction

The Portuguese Football Federation handed down a 30-day suspension and a £215 fine to Cristiano Ronaldo after weighing his career contributions during the sanction decision. Reports from Sky Sports reveal he submitted a nearly 2,000-word statement alongside a curriculum vitae listing five Champions League titles, five Ballon d'Or awards, three Premier League titles, two La Liga titles, two Serie A titles, and EURO 2016 in hopes of reducing the penalty. While the F.P.F. acknowledged his achievements, the resulting ban is set to expire before Portugal faces Denmark on November 14. Beyond the disciplinary outcome, there are claims that Cristiano is actively trying to pressure Jorge Jesus regarding call-ups, attempting to leave the coach without arguments to maintain his exclusion from the squad.
