LeBron James 24th NBA season

Most players LeBron James's age have already hung up their jerseys, yet he's starting his 24th NBA season tonight. That sets a new record for the league while he had real options to retire with the Lakers or reunite with the Cavs instead. Instead of stepping away, James is locked in on winning another championship ring. His career path was never what anyone expected, especially when you contrast his longevity with the typical retirement timeline for athletes at this stage. #LeBronJames #NBA
