Borussia Dortmund injured signings

Borussia Dortmund dropped 30 million euros on Konstantinos Karetsas and 26 million euros on Giannis Konstantelias during the summer transfer window, but that combined 56 million euros is stuck in medical limbo. The situation reads like a Greek curse hitting the club with bad luck and difficult times as both players are dealing with injuries. Giannis Konstantelias tore his anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, had surgery, and will be unavailable for several months. Meanwhile, Konstantinos Karetsas sustained an ankle ligament injury during a match against Union Berlin and will miss the next two games. It is a harsh reality where the financial loss hits hard while the squad faces these setbacks.
