Bucky Barnes in Avengers Armageddon #4

Red Hulk sets off a catastrophic explosion, and the Winter Soldier is seemingly down to just his metal arm. That's the state of things after AVENGERS: ARMAGEDDON #4, and the preview for issue #5 has Sam Wilson and Wolverine recovering what appears to be Bucky Barnes' remains. So yes, Marvel Comics may have actually killed him off. Here's the part worth repeating: this is the main continuity, NOT the MCU. A guy who went from Steve Rogers' best friend to the Winter Soldier to clawing his way toward redemption, and this is where it lands. Genuinely rough. 💔
