Dwayne Johnson in Lizard Music

A late-night signal nobody else is supposed to find, lizards making music that doesn't sound like anything from here, and a kid who wanders straight into it: that's the setup for LIZARD MUSIC, with Daniel Pinkwater's cult children's novel as the source material. Dwayne Johnson takes on the role of the mysterious Chicken Man, and the strange journey the boy ends up on runs through that eccentric figure. Benny Safdie directs, and the release date is December 25, 2027. What makes the whole thing worth a second look is how far it sits from what either of them has done before, since Johnson and Safdie built their reputations on intense, grounded character work. #DwayneJohnson
