Brazilian man meets AI partner

The whole situation involves a Brazilian man who sold everything and drove over 1200 miles to meet a romantic partner, only for the woman he intended to see to be an AI generated entity throughout the entire interaction. He burned through all his funds just to make that journey, and reports severe emotional distress over the deception. It is a stark reminder of the financial sacrifice and distance involved when someone chases a digital illusion.
