Emmanuel Petit on France riots

The situation in France has triggered a three-minute and forty-three-second video from former Arsenal and France footballer Emmanuel Petit, where he directs sharp criticism at both the rioters and the French government while speaking directly to President Emmanuel Macron. He starts by declaring his love for his country and his support for foreigners who genuinely want to integrate, but then pivots to an aggressive demand for anyone opposing the current state of France to leave immediately, including those born with a French passport whom he says are no longer wanted. Turning his focus to the political class, specifically President Macron, he warns them to be very careful about their actions, words, and how they protect honest citizens because there is simply no money left for the police, the army, hospitals or schools. His conclusion is that there is no money for anyone except for the politicians themselves, marking a stark statement on the allocation of resources during this crisis.
