The Social Reckoning box office crash

Received with mixed WOM by audiences, Sony’s R-rated business biopic TheSocialReckoning also crashes & burns at US BoxOffice, falling out of Top10 already after grossing just 1.6M on 2nd 3-day weekend, harsh -69.4% drop (vs TheSocialNetwork’s 15.5M, -31.2% back in 2010!!!), It hits a 8.3M cume in the U.S. With a 42M production budget not even including marketing, this one is poised to become a financial failure, at least in theatres, eyeing a 10M-12M run in the U.S.
