In China’s BoxOffice, R-rated game adaptation horror reboot ResidentEvil    directed by ZachCregger managed to remain #1 for 2 weeks in a row, grossing STRONG $9.3M on 2nd 3-day weekend, just a -23.1% drop from first weekend, after a strong $3M SUN over 106k screenings (-6k from last SUN)! It hits a $56M cume after 14 days in China, already #2 highest grossing Hollywood horror Post-Covid locally. For some reason, Audiences score from ticket buyers on Maoyan has never been unveiled, but on Douban it remains with a solid 7.2⭐️ score, specially strong for Hollywood horror films locally. $65k in pre-sales for 3rd MON, when it will play over 94k screenings (-6k from last MON)
