Anthropic Blackstone $60B financing deal

The audacity of the AI race shifting from just intelligence to access to capital is hitting hard. Frontier tech gets the hype, but the financing costs for infrastructure are where the real story lives. Reports say Anthropic offered Blackstone a yield over 10% on $9B in debt secured by five-year chip leases. That offer sits inside a proposed $60B package split into $18B junior debt and $42B senior debt, all tied to roughly 1.5GW of Google AI chips. It’s not just about who builds the smartest models anymore; it’s about who can move the money fast enough to keep up. #Anthropic
