Electric eel shock mechanism

Picture a creature running on pure biological power, no external battery required. Electric eels possess specialized electric organs that house thousands of cells known as electrocytes. These cells fire simultaneously to unleash massive electrical discharges. Some individuals can generate shocks reaching up to 860 volts, which is an insane amount of voltage for a living thing. They deploy these high-voltage bursts to hunt down prey or defend themselves against threats. For navigation, they switch to weaker electrical signals to map their environment. The sheer capability of this animal makes you wonder if a living organism could ever produce electricity this intense. #NatureScenery
