Maxi López on Ronaldinho and his divorce

The story Maxi López tells about his Barcelona divorce starts with Ronaldinho knocking at night, not with the split itself. His partner was there when he arrived in the city, and Dinho kept turning up after dark asking if she was ready to join whatever was happening. One, two, three nights running. What followed was the kind of ultimatum nobody wants on the table: It's him or me, you choose. So Maxi got her a plane ticket home to Buenos Aires. The house, though, didn't get quieter. Three mates came over on a one-month arrangement, and three years later they were still there. Grills, PlayStation, going out constantly. Hard to turn Ronaldinho down, as he puts it. Competing with that Brazilian charm was never really on the cards.
