Trống Đồng Stadium Hanoi Vietnam

Vietnam is moving forward with a stadium project in Hanoi that aims to revolutionize world football. The Trống Đồng Stadium is being constructed with a capacity designed for 135,000 spectators and an estimated investment of 2 billion dollars. Construction is expected to finish between 2027 and 2028. The architectural concept pulls directly from traditional Đông Sơn bronze drums while the structure itself gets a retractable roof for sports matches and large concerts. Technical specs call for 5G connectivity, biometric entry systems, and typhoon-resistant construction. This facility sits inside a larger Olympic City development including a secondary 40,000-seat venue, aquatic facilities, and commercial zones. If these dimensions are realized, Vietnam would surpass iconic stadiums in capacity like Camp Nou, Estadio Azteca, and Rungrado 1st of May stadiums. #Football
