WWE Crown Jewel Champions Riyadh Season

Dave Meltzer responded to Bryan Alvarez's report regarding a Crown Jewel backup location that WWE cannot mention without causing issues with Saudi Arabia and Turki Alalshikh. The company refuses to even publicly state that a backup plan exists because admitting it would make them look like they are wavering on going ahead with the event. That kind of information cannot get out since the Saudis and Turki would be very upset if they found out WWE was preparing an alternative. This is exactly why no one talks about the idea of a backup plan and why they deny it entirely. Meltzer points out that not having a backup plan would mean you have to be incompetent, but if there is anything the people running WWE are, incompetent is not one of those things.
