The Democratic Republic of Congo is deep in a crisis that comes from inside, not outside. This mess traces back to the irresponsibility and bad calls made by Félix Tshisekedi, plus the lack of legitimacy that came from the chaotic 2023 elections. Discrimination, tribalism, and xenophobia are tearing communities apart and fracturing social cohesion. People are facing repeated violations of their human rights and fundamental freedoms while national resources get managed catastrophically. Living conditions for the population keep getting worse. It feels like we need to stop confusing the RDC with Ivan le Terrible because the fight has to be against this man and his tyrannical system. #FelixTshisekedi
