Greta Gerwig NARNIA faith

Shooting on celluloid isn't just a technical choice for Greta Gerwig; it's an expression of faith. The director confirms that the entire NARNIA production relies heavily on this belief, with both the cast and crew deeply involved in the spiritual dimension of the work. Historically, filmmaking and religious conviction have always walked hand in hand. Gerwig describes the creative process itself as nothing less than an act of faith. "Film and faith have always gone hand in hand… The very act of making a film is an act of faith. Shooting on celluloid is faith." This perspective underscores how the artistic endeavor transcends mere mechanics to become something deeply personal and trusting.
