Was this the game of the year so far? Because Bills-Rams last night gave us a first half that felt like a waste of everyone's evening and an overtime that made up for all of it. Buffalo and Los Angeles opened with nothing doing on offense. Josh Allen didn't even get to 100 passing yards before the break, and if that was your only window into the game, you'd have every right to feel robbed. The second half was a different sport entirely. Both teams kept trading blows, and by overtime the whole thing had turned into pure chaos. Khalil Shakir got loose on a huge reception and it looked like he was gone for the walk-off score. Kamren Kinchens chased him down and made the tackle that saved the game. On the very next play, Nate Landman forced a fumble on James Cook inside the 20, and suddenly the Rams had life again. Los Angeles marched down the field for what should have been the walk-off kick. Greg Rousseau got a hand up and blocked it, keeping Buffalo alive. Given that second chance, Allen drove the Bills back into scoring range, and Tyler Bass drilled the game-winner. From that unwatchable start to an overtime nobody could look away from, this one had every emotion you can name. This is exactly why we love the NFL. #JoshAllen
